Structural characteristics
The brazed plate heat exchanger is an upgrade of the gasketed plate heat exchanger. It is composed of head and tail baffles and herringbone corrugated plates. The corrugated plate angles of adjacent plates face opposite, and the crests of the plate components cross each other to form a large number of contact points. Through vacuum brazing, the brazing material is melted to form an alloy with the base material, so that every contact point between the plates becomes a welding point, which not only enhances the strength of the heat exchanger, but also improves the heat transfer of the heat exchanger efficiency.
